The bar brought together a cast of different characters, each with their own opinions and perspectives. Schools also bring together a cast of different characters, including adults and children. The events that occur, stories that are told and opinions that are offered can often make for the chapter of a book. As principal, I get pulled into the middle of many of these conversations, sometimes laughing, sometimes shaking my head, sometimes in total disbelief.
